I spent the 1st day of 2007 hanging around with my siblings and Fazwin (who came back from KL for the few days holidays) at Vivocity.

One of the main attractions for the day was Fazwin, but apart from him, well, the Gotheborg. I read about it in the papers, "A replica of an old sailing ship will be docking on the shores of Singapore" and I was estatic. Went to see the ship and lo and behold, it was pretty grand and it was the first sailing ship I've ever seen in my entire lifetime.

The sails, the ropes and everything was so amazing. The actual ship was built in the 1700s and this is merely a replica of it. But it's still just so amazing. I was thinking of paying $10 one of these days to get on the dock of the ship. Maybe rob the ship and go sailing and go in search of my Cap'n Jack Sparrow (may he survive the kraken). Hehe...

Haaa... Sorry dear. My siblings and I planning to go again one of these days! Sebelum the 9th sebab that'll be the last day it's at Singapore.

It'll be there till the 9th sista! It's a must go and see, it's not always you see sail ships here on the S'pore waters.
